2010 Awareness Week

This video was produced by the Macular Disease Foundation (formerly the Macular Degeneration Foundation) to launch MD Awareness Week in 2010. The theme of "Know the symptoms - don't risk blindness" highlighted alarming research that showed people at risk of experiencing a symptom of Macular Degeneration, the leading cause of blindness in Australia, would dismiss symptoms thinking they just needed glasses or were experiencing computer related eye strain.
