mEYE World Competition 2012
14 June - 14 September 2012
The mEYE World Photographic Competition is an initiative of the Macular Degeneration Foundation to raise awareness of macular degeneration, the leading cause of blindness in Australia.
You can help raise awareness by submitting a photograph in our 2012 competition that shows your appreciation of the gift of vision. It could be a person, landscape, event, or any sight from your world.
All entries must include a 30-60 word description explaining how your entry has inspired you to appreciate the gift of vision. Entries will be judged on their creativity, composition, content, and technique by a judging panel that includes our wonderful patron Ita Buttrose.
There are four categories for this competition:
- Open (general public)
- Macular degeneration Community
- Healthcare professional
- Junior (under 18)
Select the category that is most appropriate to you, and enter now!
Entries must be submitted online through the competition website. If you are unsure how to submit online, or if you a vision impairment, do not let this deter you. Have someone help you and if you do not know how to obtain the information about the competition, phone the Foundation on 1800 111 709.
