Slow Macular Degeneration
Listen to the Macular Degeneration Foundation presentation on ‘Eating Well for macular degeneration – lifestyle, nutrition and supplements’ on Wednesday 17 November using you home telephone.
“The presentation will offer people with macular degeneration the opportunity to learn what they can do to help slow down the progression of the disease”, said Pam Stone, Director of Education at Blackmores Australia.
“Specific supplements have been scientifically proven to slow down the progression of MD by up to 25 per cent. It is so important to spread the word about the role of a healthy lifestyle and specific nutrition and supplements in trying to prevent further vision loss”, added Ms Stone.
If you want to learn about macular degeneration and what you can do to live well with MD, then this Telesupport session is for you.
“I am so thankful that I was diagnosed early enough to be able to do something to slow down the progression of my macular degeneration”, said Joanie Cam, client with MD.
“Being patriotic I faithfully eat my green and gold foods daily, have my fish oil regularly, and love eating Brazil nuts and walnuts. I also take my supplements, eat a balanced diet, wear my sunglasses, and enjoy walking - so I know I am doing everything I possibly can to stop my MD from getting worse”, Joanie added.
